Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Secureflo (secureflo.net and related products), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Secureflo is

Secureflo provides AI-generated security intelligence, regulatory tracking, and self-service assessments designed for business users. Output is generated by large language models and provided on an "as-is" basis. It is intended to inform, not to replace, professional security or legal advice.

3. Eligibility

The assessment, personalized feed, and AI Q&A are intended for business users operating in a commercial or organizational capacity. You must use a valid business email address and be authorized to provide the context you submit on behalf of your organization.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the service to obtain advice you then hold out as a professional opinion without qualification.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer the prompts, scrape outputs at scale, or circumvent rate limits.
• Do not submit personally identifiable data of others, credentials, API keys, or confidential client data in free-text fields.
• Do not use the service for illegal purposes or in violation of export controls.

5. AI-generated content disclaimer

Questions, feed articles, regulation summaries, Q&A responses, and assessment analysis are generated by AI. While we design prompts carefully and cite real regulations, AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You must independently verify any regulation, date, or obligation before relying on it for compliance, legal, or security decisions. Secureflo is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of AI-generated output.

6. No professional relationship

Use of the free product does not create an attorney–client, consultant–client, or fiduciary relationship. Engaging Secureflo for paid consulting services (e.g. Fractional CISO, Penetration Testing, Assessments) is governed by a separate written services agreement.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of any context, free-text notes, and answers you submit. You grant Secureflo a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use that input solely to provide the service to you, including transmission to our AI sub-processor. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

8. Intellectual property

The Secureflo product, brand, and underlying prompt and model configurations are the property of Secureflo or its licensors. The generated output you receive may be used internally within your organization and reproduced for board or investor communications, provided Secureflo is credited. You may not resell or sublicense the output as your own product.

9. Availability

The service is provided on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee uptime, performance, or accuracy. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features without notice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Secureflo's aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the free product is limited to USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or regulatory penalties.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Secureflo against claims arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your actions taken in reliance on AI-generated output without independent verification.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes shall be brought exclusively in the state and federal courts of Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Nothing in this clause limits consumer rights you may have under the mandatory law of your jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via email or in-product notice. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
